Hi & welcome to the blogs

In your shoes I would NOT have my husband train me -- too much mixing up of work and life. You need to be able to fire your trainer & you don't want your trainer all up in your business when it's 3 days before your period & you need chocolate. But maybe he has a colleague & that person has a friend or family member who wants training & they can train the other person's significant other for free?

The truth is for weight loss 95% is personal and mental. A trainer can help if you're ready and just need help on the exercise, but no one but you can get you ready to do the hard daily slog of weight loss.

Good luck - sounds like you're a pretty clever & self-aware person, so I'm sure you'll find the right way forward.
