A RELENTLESS FIGHT AGAINST WORLDLY WAYS SO TOTAL HEALTH CAN PREVAIL

5/6 and GONE! Whew.

Today is the last day of the month (and period gone now)and I have been officially back to 3FC for 12 days. It feels good, although it’s very time consuming to set up my program on the blog. I keep having new ideas and changing the theme. I come here every day, I want it to be something I enjoy looking at and working with. This is my own diet-focused cyberspace!

My day: I started it off with a bike ride. I was graced by King Edward’s presence! He rode the entire 10 mile trip with me. When we got home, he made eggs, bacon and toast for breakfast immediately. We had planned to go try out this cute little Pentecostal church down the road from us. So we were on a mission to get ready and go. Well, we did just that (I ate only 1 egg, 2 bacons, and an English muffin) we were on time to the new church. When we arrived we counted the cars in the parking lot—12. We want a little larger congregation so we left. LOL …

Ed drove past this other church on his way home from work last week that he wanted to try so he brought me there instead. We actually went in. Haha… This one was Lutheran and the pastor was boring. The congregation was disrespectful concerning noise level, random talking and allowing children to laugh and play. It was difficult to hear the parts that were somewhat interesting to listen to. Anyways, I have to stop writing about that. We won’t go back. We don’t have another church in mind right now, but we’ll keep looking (and praying).

We ran errands during lunch so I got a diet fountain soda to sip on while we completed them. Well, we were starving when we finally did get back home, so I followed plan and made chicken spread for our homemade bread and we had wheat thins. THEN, we had CAKE AND ICE CREAM! ARGH! That was not on-plan! …I got sick from so much sugar. No dinner for me tonight. If I can’t stand any hunger pains, I’ll just eat veggies. No carbs, protein or fruits.

I finally gave the dog a bath. I had wanted to give him a bath for longer than a week. Last night I noticed he had scabs and an infection again (skin allergies and on meds for them) so he NEEDED a bath. It alleviates his irritations. Tomorrow I have to call the doctor and get him more meds. High maintenance pooch! Geez.

OH GOSH! Ed is getting ready to go to the reservation (Ojibwa) to spend a few days fishing with his mom. It just hit me because he brought up the big cooler! I’m sorta thinkin’ that I’ll miss him, but I think I’ll like the time alone too—because I can work on getting my website formatted and possible transferred to the host. (haha) I’m in no rush though. I do a little of “this” and “that” each day. I’m learning tons of stuff all at once and I want it to stick. A few phone calls and I should be ok. :p

Okay, I want to stop writing. Tomorrow begins a new month. I wonder what sort of things I’ll learn about myself in the month of June. How exciting! *A new idea for the blog—a page that lists things that Tawnya learns about herself on a monthly basis. Hmmm* See? That’s exactly the type of thoughts that keep me here at my computer! Hahahahaha…

Off to the Daily Menu link.

  1. hope the time alone pays off and your able to get all that you want done. funny how you mentioned the church, the hubby and i have been meaning to try out some in our area as we don’t like the new pastor at the church we’ve been at for a few years. it sucks when that happens, but part of life i suppose, and definately a testament of faith to find a new “home.” best of luck in your search and weightloss journey. :)

  2. I admit, I played around a lot with this blog when I got it…I think I updated it daily! LOL

Time off from hubby is double edged as you say! LOL
