I Biked

Wow, it’s 39 degrees already! I’m not getting outside today; however, I’ll be snuggling into my sewing room before work.

Well, my entire day went the way I’d planned. I journaled and biked on the stationary for an entire 15 minutes. After I got going, I added more to the work out, but not much more (Laura, you were right). I threw my free weights around to work my upper arms and shoulders. Of course, Ed noticed right away. It’s uncanny how the results show so quickly—a more solid muscle to the touch. I watched Pirates of the Caribbean while I worked out. I’ll continue on where I left off this morning. I love that movie. I love the costuming and I dream of wearing beautiful dresses and corsets. I just think it would be fun, but not every day. Eeek!

Went to spend time with The Mum and we went shopping for my brother. I’m sending him a digital camera but I needed a battery and charger kit. I picked out a xD card reader so I could get photos onto my blogs, since my desktop is out of order at the moment. I suppose it will be quite some time before I can get a new monitor. I’ve got to finish making payments on my Kenmore. Anyways, I’ll post the chocolate tools I made for King Edward at the end of the entry. He says they have delicious flavor. I added yellow paste and cream cheese oil flavoring to the white candy. It’s a nice merge with the milk chocolate. I made them with Mumsy last Saturday. She’ll be coming this Saturday also for another bake-day. Ed will be gone hunting.

Okay I’m going to talk food yesterday. It went okay, but then not okay. And then ended up okay.

  • Cheerios and almond milk
  • Apples and sugar
  • 1/3 cup noodles and sauce
  • whole wheat toast w sesame seed chips-5 chips
  • Ho Ho Mint Mocha w/ soy, no whip at Caribou
  • A few anise flavored hard candy
  • Tall coffee
  • 1 small hamburger patty
  • ¼ cup mashed butter potatos
  • A few chocolates from a bag of Brach’s Bridge Mix

No veggies again. I guess I didn’t care for them. It was really late at night when I made the patties and tatos… Ed was sighting his gun in at the range. I just don’t feel like eating a full meal when he’s gone. I went to sleep about 11:30 pm. I wanted to stay up and read, but I remembered that I wanted to try and get up a tad earlier than usual. I got up only 10 minutes earlier than I have been, but it’s something.

Okay, I better sign off to stay on schedule. StillScheduleMe signing off.

Here are the chocolates.

  1. The chocolates are ADORABLE!

I love Pirates (the first one).. I don’t care for Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom… but I <3 Johnny Depp~ 3rd one focused too much on the first 2… I wanted to see more Captain Jack Sparrow :D

    Have a great one!

  2. your chocolates are too adorable!

good for you on getting that bike ride in and adding that extra training your body will love you for that - keep up the good job!!

    have a blessed day!

  3. cute chocolate!

Ho ho mint mocha, now that sounds yummy!
    have a great day!

  4. The candies are really cute. Good for you on staying with the plan.

  5. I love the symbolic haircut idea. I’ve also recently started working on toning up my arms. I can’t wait until they are (toned). :)

The chocolates are too cute and they came out really well. Looks like they popped out of the mold nicely.

  6. Yay for you biking and doing weights! Keep it up!

Very cute candies! Very fancy w/ the white part on top of the chocolate. I need to get going on my holiday baking because we’re hosting something in mid-December and I should get a jump on it or the anxiety will keep building, LOL. But I won’t do it until after Thanksgiving. For Thanksgiving we have to find some recipes for a veggie side dish and a dessert. There will be ham and mashed sweet potatoes - any suggestions for another veggie?

Re my Lands End order - no, I just ordered straight from the catalog. If I need to return them, I can do that at the LE Outlet store that’s not too far from the house. The shipping was free on this, so I figured there wasn’t much risk… But I do hope the boots fit because I don’t want to have to exchange them and then have them be sold out of the size I need! I’ve been putting off buying a new pair for a couple years now and my old pair is really beat. They were also LE boots and really did their job, but they are totally done!!

    Okay, I’ll stop yakking now!

  7. You’re chocolates are adorable. At my store we have a woman who does centerpieces and such by making different things into chocolates. Just an idea for you =)

Nice job on the biking, my friend! That’s awesome! I’m still not in the groove of working out regurlarly and I fear I won’t get back into it. I don’t know how to get myself started again. I want to ask you how you got back on track but the easy part is the answer. The actual “doing” is the worst part of it =P

Glad to see you are doing well.
