Still Tired
It’s 8 am. I woke up at 7:15 again. My life is being slept away. Oh well. …oh well.
Yesterday. I went shopping for baking and candy supplies with Mum—until I had to leave for work. I was super tired last night after dinner, but managed to crochet several squares.
I learned that my graham crackers are 130 calories per serving, which is two entire sheets. I thought they were 130 per sheet. Good to know because I eat tons of sheets. LOL I ate a chicken breast Subway for lunch and dinner was 1 egg, 1 french toast, and 2 bacon strips. 6Oz of OJ. I ate 1 chocolate mint candy that I made in the molds. I snacked on this Southwestern mix from Fleet Farm before dinner too. That was probably about 200 calories because there were nuts in it. Yogurt for b-fast again. Maybe I should log each morsel to get myself back on track.
I sent home a piece of pie home with my Mum and she loved it. She said “The bottom crust wasn’t soggy at all!” …that wasn’t even a concern of mine—Period. It’s comments such as those that are similar to saying “You didn’t screw up once!” almost as if she’s expecting it. I get a mixed message there. I know it’s a reflection of her and I might go crazy if I put too much time into thinking about it or how it could really traumatize me. I think I’ll just focus on how happy I am.
LOL.
Today I have to pick up some more ingredients for baking—hazelnut oil/flavor for the truffles we’ll make. I will post the list of candy and cookies one day and then I’ll post photos as we make them.
I also have to pick up Bahk some more medicine. He’s got little scabs all over from his skin allergies. He needs a bath too, but that comes later, probably not today. I need to go and scoop up some motivation for cleaning the kitchen today. I’m dead tired and I wonder if it has something to do with warding off the Candida or not having exercise in my routine—or both. This too shall pass, at any rate. I gotta get off this thing now. TiredMe signing off.

Your mom’s comment was probably based on problems *she* had with making pie…don’t dwell on it!
Poor doggy with his skin allergies.
Hope your tiredness passes. I’ve been feeling tired this week too - in the evenings. I don’t know if it’s because I started walking instead of cycling on part of my commute this week, or if my complete lack of formal exercise for quite a while now is starting to take it’s toll.
Looking forward to your list of candies and cookies - we have a holiday dessert to host for our block in Dec. and I’m already feeling anxious about it. Have a good weekend.
I’m glad your pie turned out well! Haha, i think Mom’s comment needs to be taken with a grain of salt, especially if you made a better pie than she can make
As for your comments on the baby’s afghan. I just went with the flow, no pattern. I don’t like patterns, or really anything that tells me how to create somehting artistically. Following directions has never been a strong suit of mine in any situation
