Wow, these fit!

Okay, here’s the drill.  I wear a 26 pants.  Now, the problem is that a size 26 pants doesn’t really fit.. I’m just too stubborn to wear a size 28 pants.

This morning I looked around for a pair of jeans that meets all of the following requirements:

• Fits without resulting in a Sharpei puppy look above the waist and making me feel like I cannot breathe
• Shows some butt (I cannot suffer the droopy might-not-have-a-butt look)
• Does not have any noticable holes or threadbare spots

Currently, I have 1 pair of jeans that fits all of these requirements and I cannot find them.

Oh sure, I have a couple of pair that fit passably if, and only if, I’ve worn them 1 or 2 times between washes, unfortunately.. I just pulled the one clean pair fitting that description from the dryer last night.

“Oh well..” I decide, it’s this or a skirt on a Friday.  I choose the “going to crush my waist and make my midriff look like the michelin man’s fat cousin” jeans, resigned to my fate.

And then something magic happened.  I put them on, zipped them up and realized that it didn’t hurt. I can sit up straight, I can bend over to pick up my pen and STILL BREATHE!

They’re definitely not loose and my midriff is still unpleasantly pooching a bit, but this definitely progress.

WOOOHOO!!!
