I started this post yesterday but all I wrote was the title. :) Guess I was right.
I’m in the middle of week 2 of my Math class. I think things are going pretty well. I am trying to get into a routine with school work, since every week is the same. (A pre-test on Monday, homework assigned and then due Friday, discussion questions due Wednesday and then the test by Sunday) I’m trying to get some homework done at work but it is a challenge. Maybe once I get into a class that has a book I can just quick open and study, rather than my e-book for this class. I still can’t believe sometimes that I’m taking college classes. I never thought it was something I would (could) do.
My diet has been going pretty well too. I lost another 1.5lbs this week (I weighed in on Tuesday) which brings my total to 7.5lbs in 2 weeks. I’m liking the calorie counting thing I’m doing. I don’t always write everything I eat down but I stick to my 400/700/900 goals for meals. If I go over/under a large amount (on purpose) I do write that down to make up the difference later. I had a rough weekend with eating. Saturday we celebrated my birthday, including dinner at a restaurant and then a carrot cake. Of course I brought the extra cake home, like a dummy and ate it. Then on Sunday, Heather left for the week and I was alone in the house. I feel like I ate everything in my cupboard and refrigerator!! I hate that. Just because I had some cake for breakfast, doesn’t mean that I needed to let my whole day go. I jumped back on the wagon first thing Monday and have eaten VERY well since then. I need to start my exercising. We went to the gym once last week Monday and I haven’t gotten a workout in since. I’m ready for Heather to get back from vacation and get this party started 100% on both our parts. (Do you hear me Heather?!) Actually, screw that. I have a late start tomorrow for work.
I am GOING to workout in the morning.
