I lost a pound this week.  Not sure how that happened but I’ll take it, as always.  I’m starting to feel good about being on track again.  I am very excited for the 5k in July.  I went to the track with a friend tonight and had my best run ever.  I am not able to run the whole distance yet but I jogged 7mins, walked 3 for the first 30 minutes and then I jogged for 5 mins, walked 30 seconds and then jogged to the end!!  I finished with my best time of 38:56.  I’m pretty happy about that.  I still have 6 weeks until the race.  Enough time to drop a few minutes off my time. Plus, race day always gives you a mental boost, what with all the screaming fans!

I can’t wait to hear about the 5k! You are making great progress. And the rush of the crowds and noise and energy in general definitely gives you a little boost. You are going to do great!
