I DID IT!

I kicked that race’s ASS! I finished in 40:58, by personal best. It went really well and I can’t wait for the next one. I’m going to train hard for the next 7 weeks and run the whole way at the 5/3rd Run. I only had to walk a few short distances today, so that was good. It’s much easier to run when you have people cheering you on every hundred feet! Maybe I should see who’s available on my normal workout days? Just ask random friends to sit by the road and cheer when I come by… lol. I’m sure they would LOVE that!

Looking forward to week 3’s challenge. I know I’ll get the miles in but the food is what I will really focus on. 5 days of eating OP? I think I can do it!

    I’m just catching up on your blog. Yeah for your running! I just started running last May and November was my first 5k. I agree, the environment is AWESOME! I don’t know where you live, but some of us are meeting in SC for a 5k in June. If you aren’t too far, maybe you can join us! It is a 5k that is run at night with luminaries lighting the way.

    Food is my issue too right now. I hope this weeks challenge will help me get control of it. Best of luck to you!

    Congratulations!!! That is so awesome. Seriously, I have been wanting to run, but I have been thinking I am too heavy to do it. Your such an inspiration… I think I will not wait until I am skinny to start running. :)
