Monday: 1962 calories (involved going out for ice cream and eating slow cooker sweet and tangy chicken that I made)
Tuesday:
breakfast - apple
small coffee with skim milk and one splenda
lunch - 2 slices whole wheat bread with one slice American cheese, mustard, and pickles (it was supposed to be a ham sandwich, but there was no ham left!!)
dinner - 5 oz steak
half ear of corn on cob (no butter)
half baked sweet potato (nothing on it)
dessert - nonfat yogurt
fresh strawberries
1/2 cup Fiber One cereal
Total calories: 996 calories
I haven’t exercised at all lately. But at least I had a relatively active afternoon yesterday. My boyfriend and I went to his mother’s house and rode his old quad into the cornfields behind his house. Got the fresh corn for dinner! Then we played in the pool for about an hour, just like we were kids again. I had so much fun!! And that burned up some calories, I am sure. Then we played horseshoes for a while … I’m not very good … just learning!!! It was a great afternoon. I don’t even care about skipping exercise sometimes, as long as I go running a couple times a week. I’ll never be strict about working out! It’s just not me. So I have to concentrate on the diet.
If this luau party still goes on (my boyfriend and I are still so on the verge of breaking up for good, even though we had a great few hours together yesterday), I am still so motivated to feel good in a bathing suit. I wore a new bikini yesterday for the pool AND horseshoes. It was just the boy and I, so it’s not like anyone saw me, but hanging out without covering up is a big deal for me. Working on getting more comfortable with myself. Two and a half weeks left!!!
