Bad day. Boyfriend problems. Headed toward a break-up … maybe. I don’t know. We’ve been together 3 1/2 years, and the fights get worse and more complicated. Love him very much, but he really has some growing up to do.

The “worst day ever” actually refers to my food intake for yesterday. It involved a family dinner out to the Chinese food restaurant. And I would have tried picking something healthy, but my father ordered Pu Pu Platters to feed everyone. It was the first time all four of us kids were out to dinner with my father since my mother passed away in October. Well, not kids … we are 40, 37, 30, and 28. But you know what I mean.

I just decided to let the diet go for the night. 3 chicken wings, 2 chicken fingers, 1 beef terryaki strip, 3 boneless spare ribs, and a fortune cookie. And 2 scorpion bowls (the individual ones, not the huge ones you share). Do you know how hard it is to find nutrition info for Chinese food. I finally gave up trying and estimated. The food came to 1125 calories. Sounds about right, I think. And I found online that the scorpion bowls came to 555. So …. for one dinner out, 1680 calories!!!!!!! Scary.

Day Nineteen - Saturday  ………. 3102 calories

Day Twenty - Sunday

2 eggs, 2 light sausages, 2 slices toast with little bit of butter

ham and cheese on white roll

apple

Smart Ones Lasagna

carrots, green beens, corn medley

Calorie total: 1422

It’s only 8:30 pm and I plan on being up another 4 or 5 hours. So, I might eat one more small snack. I won’t go over 150 calories though. Promise!!!!

My average calorie intake for the week was 1657.

Week 1 Average: 1398 

Week 2 Average: 1875

Week 3 Average: 1657

Tomorrow is weigh-in number 3. I was hoping for 2 pounds, but I’m thinking my Chinese binge might have messed that up. Well, not that alone, but that was a big part of it. Maybe 1 pound though!!! I better have lost one pound. Guess I’ll see in 12 hours!!!!
