Wow … I really did jinx things last night when I said it was a quiet night at the hospital. About an hour later, we had a code blue, and the patient didn’t make it. And it wasn’t even one of our sickest patients, or so we thought. He wasn’t mine, but everyone on the floor gets involved. It’s a pretty crazy scene if you haven’t ever seen it. Anyway, I hope tonight’s overnight is better.

It’s 2:30 pm and I haven’t even thought about eating yet. Really not hungry at all. Not feeling very well actually. These shifts really mess with me. I’m watching the food network to stimulate the appetite. Not really working. Probably will make something anyway.

Damn there is some crazy thunder and lightening going on. Really hope I don’t lose power. Anyway, I’ll be back later or tomorrow to track today’s food. Later!!!!
