<p><span style="color: #808080">On another note, the weather in California has been crazy.  It RAINED yesterday, and its going to be in the 50s and 60s all week!  Thats more normal in San Francisco but in the east bay we&#8217;re usually well into the 70s and 80s on most days by this time of year.  And rain is unusual after April.  This has been a LONG winter for us. </span></p>
<p><span style="color: #808080">Today is nice (but a little windy) so the hubs and I are going to go to the Vacaville outlets and then to hit some golf balls at the range.  Then we&#8217;re going to come back here and bbq up some nitrate-free, organic hot dogs!  Should be a really fun day!<br />

<p><span style="color: #808080">I hosted a bridal shower yesterday.  It was very hard work getting the house and yard all cleaned up, then cooking and playing hostess&#8230;&#8230;  and then post-party cleanup (still in progress).  Today I&#8217;m just vegging (and so far over eating).  I need to do a juice cleanse after all the crap I&#8217;ve eaten in the last 24 hours.  But in the end the party was a lot of fun and I was glad to do it for my BFF who is getting married in July.  <img src='http://www.3fatchicks.com/diet-blogs/suzeeeq/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' /><br />

<p><span style="color: #999999"><span>This week, inclination met motivation and led to ACTION!  I finally got my eating under some semblance of control.  I had been snacking so much that my meals were getting tinier and tinier, and that made me snack more!!  Plus, I was eating way too much sugar.  I got my daily average calories down from almost 2100 to around 1750.  There is still work to do, but I feel so much more in control.<br />
</span></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #999999">Kind of interesting tidbit&#8230;  I have had problems with dairy for years and wasn&#8217;t sure if it was lactose intolerance or a milk protein allergy.  I also have problems with gluten and soy, so sometimes it can be difficult to differentiate what is causing problems.  Yesterday I tried a lactose free yogurt and I tolerated it really well.  I can&#8217;t tell you how relieved I was that the issue is only lactose, which is totally manageable.  This could change my life!  Welcome back cheese!<br />
