Starting weight (7/5/2009): 212.8

This week’s weight (2/6/2011): 151.4
This week’s weight loss / gain: Lost 0.2 lbs
Total weight loss: Lost 61.4 pounds
You may recall from my last post, I flew to NY last Sunday and was there until Thursday night. I went for work. It was a grueling 5 days, but so worth the trip. These last few days after returning have led to some contemplation and realizations about the future that I hope will bring positive changes to my life.
#1 - I’m going to see major changes in my job soon. Some good, some bad. The good will allow me to tolerate the bad. The bottom line is, I foresee an improved work/life balance in my future and that is GOOD!
#2 - I really need to STOP snacking. This week I ate huge meals. HUGE breakfasts, lunches and dinners. One day for breakfast I ate oatmeal, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and pineapple. Not kidding. But each day I still stayed within a reasonable calorie range because I didn’t snack at all (I didn’t have time, and I didn’t have any snacks available). Most normal days my snacks add up to more calories than my meals, and that is a big problem. I definitely need to figure out how to change this.
#3 - I need to make some changes at home. I need help with numerous projects and things I’ve been postponing because it will bring me out of my comfort zone (having strangers in my home, paying people to do things I prefer to do myself, trusting the quality of work they will provide…). But, the need to have these projects get done will not go away, and I need to stop procrastinating.
