PROGRESS REPORT

Starting weight (7/5/2009):              212.8

Last week’s weight (9/20/2009):      191.6

This week’s weight (9/27/2009):     189.8

This week’s weight loss / gain:        loss 1.8 pounds

Total weight loss:                             23.0 pounds

I’m in the 180s: Yay for me!!

I realize since its 189.8, it barely qualifies, but I’ll take it!!

So, finally the scale moved!  September has been a slow month, so I’m glad I can see some progress finally.

I have added incentive to kick things up a notch in October, which is a vacation in mid-month.  The husband and I are notorious for scheduling (and cancelling) vacations at the last possible minute so we’ll see if it happens.

In any case, I’m planning for it and want to get as fit as I can.  Given that I only have a couple of weeks to prepare, I don’t have too high of expectations.  Here’s my plan….

  1. Drink lots of water
  2. Go back on my DanActive probiotics
  3. Add minutes to walking plan (working toward 40 minutes a day)
  4. Do resistance or pilates work out in evening at least 2-3 times a week
  5. Drink Green Monsters often
  6. Keep calories under 1550 (instead of 1650)

My personal reward for progress will be a “detox” day at the spa )where they wrap you up and you sweat out about 5 pounds of water weight) the day before we leave.

    That’s great! 23 pounds in less than three months is incredible work.

    Do keep us posted - about the spa day and the vacation, too.
