Big Goals.

there are so many things i want to do, it’s been hard to sort them all out.

they break down into food, exercise, life and work.

i’ll use this page to keep track of where i am and where i am going. i know this first set is not specific enough, but this is the first stab at a much bigger kind of project. (a project generally known as my life i guess :)

Food:

use the weight watchers program and the libraries of recipes an experiences here to build a solid nutritional foundation that i can follow for the rest of my life.

reduce sugar and flour consumption significantly.

reduce or eliminate fast food consumption, and radically reduce the number of restaurant meals.

move towards a whole food/slow food/vegetarian/thinking philosophy about food.

Exercise:

build strength, flexibility and endurance

make movement part of my everyday life

take joy and pleasure in the sensation of movement

crave movement everyday

Life:

have more self confidence and strong self-esteem

enter into a loving relationship with another human being

develop a better sense of myself in community, and grow to believe i am part of something bigger than myself

continue to parent my girl with love, understanding and compassion

own my home again, and garden and quilt and raise animals and children and maybe even chickens

Work:

finish my master’s

find a job that will tide us over until i decide on teacher’s college or phd programs
