Havent written in a while….

Im long overdue for a post, things are still going great. Ive lost 16 lbs since i started on January3rd! Very happy about that.  I go to the gym about 5 times a week, running, spinning, weights you name it im doing it! My PT sessions are great, he keeps me on track and kicks my butt. I will post again when i have hit the 140 lbs :)

Missed a few days….

Ran for one hour and twenty minutes today! So happy about this, i felt like I could have kept going but didnt want to hurt myself….

PT is still going okay, he really keeps me motivated.

Im doing cardio 5-6 times a week, weights at least twice, PT twice….

Diet is still going good, no real cheats but I do need to cut back on my starbucks.

Anyway! Still going strong and looking forward to some loss of pounds bynthe end of the month.

Another good day

Im still going strong, diet is good and i have no desire to stray….thank you Perfect 10 diet! Im still not craving pizza, pasta, pop, chips, cookies, etc im in the second phase so I can actually have pasta and rice….I just dont want to.  Ran on the treadmill today and had a session with my PT. he had me do a circut I had done 2 weeks ago and i did it 49 seconds faster, yeah me! I bought the Nike plus sensor and Im having a bit of trouble with it, hoepfully it starts working out soon or I just wasted some money :(

My goal for this month will be to lose another 5 lbs and to find a deliscious fish recipe as I have incorporated fish in my diet for the first time ever.

Bring it February, Im ready for you!

Lost 5 lbs this past week

So the weight loss was really really slow the last 3 weeks but when I stepped on the scale today i realized I had lost another 5 lbs.  i have been sick with a cold but I didnt let it stop me from working out and so I guessed it paid off.  Heading to the gym soon for my long run day on the treadmill.  I bought a new ipod nano so im going to play around with the nike plus system and see how accurate it is.  Have a good sunday everyone!

I can reach my toes!

So I just realized that I can reach my toes, a small win but it caught me by surprise at the gym that it brought a smile to my face.

Had a session today with my PT despite waking up today to a cold, I gave it my best but I was struggling at the end.  Did 20 minute of interval runs but again it was difficult, sinuses were bothering me….sat in the sauna for a bit, I think it helped.

I plan on going to spin class bright ‘n early tomorrow, then do upper body at lunch.

Looking forward to the weekend and my long run on Saturday.

First month is over!!!

Had a good day yesterday, met with PT and jogged 3 miles outside which felt great.  Today I took it easy and just did 20 minute intervals and a lot of stretching at the end.  woke up this morning and i finally saw the scale move down :) it’s been 2 weeks with no movement so i was getting discouraged….

So my first month is finally over, i made a lot of changes in a short period of time. My diet has made a complete turnaround which is how i lost 10 lbs.

I have consistantly been going to the gym over the last 4 weeks and running has become my stable exercise.

I’m very proud and pleased with how this month went.

Running on a saturday night

Jogged for 5.1 miles tonight on the treadmill, the interval trainingis really paying off!  Have a good weekend everyone.

Survived a Friday night

So I started my day off with my very first spin class at 6:45 am.  Ate good all day.  Went out for dinner with friends and I was a good girl, drank 1.5 L with dinner and no dessert! Going to keep it up all weekend long!

Interval runs

Had a great day at the gym, increased the length of my intervals today and increased the speed. I felt great afterwards! And I burned 300 calories in 30 minutes.  Diet was okay today, ate half a grapefruit which is my new go to fruit now.  Overall a good humo day:)

Trainer worked me hard today

Did yoga at lunch which was a workout in itself, then I had a session with my PT in the evening. Im really out of shape, i almost gave up 10 minutes in but PT pushed me thru it. Thank god he did because I felt great after.  Drank an orange protein shake after (GNC brand) …didnt taste as good as other shakes and I even added strawberry and banana to it.  Diet was okay today other than the mocha I couldnt resist.  I started incorporating starchy carbs to one meal a day so today I ate a runa sandwich for lunch along with my homemade butternut squash soup YUM!  Going to do interval runs tomorrow, looking forward to that.  Overall a pretty good day.
