Pursuit of Happiness

   I think losing weight is about precession always moving forward an finding ways to make it easier along the way but never stopping because really there is no stopping there is only slowing down. When you try to give up you only slow down your journey. Now you may ask well where am i going? Well as funny as it might seem your going to your “happy place”. A place where you can look at the mirror an feel good every time, a place where you can workout just because it feels good a place where the last thing on your mind is what are you going to wear tomorrow that won’t make you look fat. This happy place is a stress free zone a confident beautiful place that makes you smile a little whenever you think about the joy life brings you an thats where your going thats where i want to be an stay because once i get there i know it’ll be too great to ever turn back.

    Finding Your happy place doesn’t just come from losing a pound or coming down a size.It comes from you finding yourself. What makes you happy when your having a rough day? What gives you absolute pleasure? What can you do for hour after hour longer an better than anyone else you know? Finding your happy place doesn’t just come from reaching your goal, It also comes from learning your little quirks along the way.

   So the first step for me is acceptance. Accepting the fact that this is a journey an I’m not there, an its going to take some time to get there. It can be tedious an very frustrating when there are bumps in the road, traffic an even sometime when you run out of gas but thats all apart of the trip. But the Important thing to remember when you want to turn back an when you think the trip is pointless is… what are you going back to? Is all the work you put into the trip worth turning around an being miserable. Because if your not at your happy place your specific goal that you set before you had excuses an reasons to make modifications. How can you live everyday going backwards then driving deeper an deeper into the opposite of happy… sadness.

   So what is the first step? The answer is day one. Think about what you do to prepare for a trip. Well we know where were going now its how were getting there? by car, train, boat, plane an so on a so forth.But whats important is when choosing you transportation you must Custom fit for your needs your prefrences. If your scared to fly don’t take a plane if driving a car will take too long then think about a train. Define yor own method of transportation an don’t just take hat everyone else i doing becase you might not be going to the same place. For me the Transportation is vegeteranism. Maybe for you It’s Low carb, Low fat or a special set diet. Whatever it is choose whats right for you. you cant look at where someone else is an assume it’s right for you because you might not be going to the same place or had the same advantages or disadvantages of getting there.

  hen choosing this you also have to remember what is easy an what is hard. I have found that Dangerous ways of losing weight have worked for some people. An at first this seems to be oh so promising an easy. But thats just the thing It’s easy. People with bulimia an anorexia an other eating disorders have diseases this is why they have special centers for them to go to rehabilitate from there diseases. You as a normal person without this sickness can not expect to mimic there lifestyle an expect the same results. this is simply because its too easy. For years I tried to get an eating disorder by not eating throwing up an doing all types of crazy things. Sometimes I got results an i thought that was great this is what i want but that wasn’t it I did not have an eating disorder I was mimicking the habits of someone who did so then once the real effects started forming I couldn’t keep up. So what happened? I went back to the same place I was at all the way back to day one. Because the Truth is you cant make your self have an eating disorder you cant force a disease on yourself because it’s not meant for you it’s not you path to take, it is not your form of transportation.

   When your form of transportation is too easy you end up at the wrong place no finding anything along the way. If I want to go 2 hours away from my house why would I take a plane? It would be a waste of time an energy. I would get to where I wanted to go but I would learn nothing along the way. I wouldn’t pick up any good habits I wouldn’t find out what makes me happy or what makes me upset.I wouldn’t find out anything about myself an I would be in the wrong place an end up slipping back. So think long an hard about how your going to get where you need to go an make the right choice not the easy one.
