Google reader!

60×80_walkit.jpgI bought the ‘5 Mile advanced workout’ by Leslie Sansone from Target recently. I was in two minds about whether to return it and get back the money because I liked the sound of the newer ‘Walk slim 4 mile’. But then I said to hell with it, and opened it. I’m glad I did. 3 of the segments are really good, the fourth and fifth are alright.

Mostly I just ignore what Leslie is doing and do my own thing, adding in kickboxing moves, sometimes dance moves. All while keeping an eye on the HRM to stay in zone, or up it when just walking is not cutting it. Every so often, I fall back in with the workout. I like having Leslie chatting away. Many people don’t like her chatter, but it’s comforting to me, and she is so motivating. :)

Food was shawarma in the afternoon and a light sandwich at night. Snacks were light. It was a good food day.

I mentioned that I would post how I keep on top of the blogs here. It’s quite difficult clicking on each name and then seeing if there are any new posts. I also follow a lot of other blogs, art and psychology and so on. So, what I am using to do this is Google reader(reader.google.com). You need a google account. If you have gmail, you probably have one already.

My instructions are for firefox, if anyone wants IE, let me know.

I just go to the blog I want to subscribe to, and in the address bar to the right there is what is known as a ‘chiclet’, an orange square. Click on that, and it will prompt you to subscribe. Select ‘google’ as the application and then ‘google reader’ in the next screen, and you’re done! Go and add all your other blogs.

Now whenever there is a new post to a blog, it will be seen on the reader screen. Easy way to keep up with all the posting around here!!
