Ok this month is kind of resembling last month as far as excerise goes LOL. I really need to turn this around! But on the weight front I weighed in yesterday at 180.2 and TOTALLY bloated with TOM. So thats awesome. I never thought id be happy about being bloated!!!! I’ve really become more slack on “dieting/loosing weight”. Of course my goal is 140 and I am determined to reach it. But, I also know with my lifestyle I WILL!!! Thats a awesome feeling. I am also getting accustomed to my new body. Its great fitting into medium work shirts instead of XL! Im loving it. Having to replace these garments makes me 100% I wont go back. 1. Its expensive. 2. Im NOT keeping the shirts!!!!!! YAY! Right my focus is gettin into the excerise game to get fit and strong. I want to build strength and endurance more than anything. I do enjoy excerising so I want to make it more about profit than desperation, if you know what I mean. See ya later. Will probably update again on Monday with weigh-in. Im hopeful to loose 2-3lbs with TOM gone. See-ya than.

   Ok, here I am full of enthusiasm!!!!!!!! Yes, I was missing for about errr, almost a month. Well I was missing due to technical difficulties aka net crashed and burned badly on me. Yet, here I am. I am SO ready to kick this fat off my body!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You know how we do that?????? Diet, check. Ive had perfect diet. I’ve had almost no falls. Which I am very proud of. Even with little (very little) excerise last month I still managed to loose a little over 7lbs!!!!! which brought me to 180.0! Which means with my change of lifestyle eventually I will naturally get to my weight— which means HUGE monkey off my back! Gods ways always work!!!!!!

  During July I will be upping the excerise. I will attend the gym this month at least 3x a week and would like to do pilates 1x a week for balance and coordination. I also play tennis once a week and joined a pool so that is good excerise aswell.

  One more thing I would like to discuss before I go. Since ive begun this journey (April 2nd) ive made alot of changes to my diet. Alot of people would say extreme. But, not unrealistic considering historical context. Before humans started playing with food we had a much healthier plate and options. Now the food out there is life-threatening. Literally. One thing I know is I love to eat!!!!!!! God created food so I dont believe its evil by itself. I believe what humans have created out of the food is whats evil. God created food for us to enjoy. I noticed many times ive read blogs people say “portion control, low-fat, low-cal, etc”. I dare to say I dont believe any of this garbage!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3 monthes ago when I began this diet I was SO obsessed with eating correctly that I counted everything, balanced everything, portioned small plates. This is correct in doing so if your going to eat man-made foods because this has a really negative effect on the metabolism. It slows it drastically. The last month while I was “dieting” I got sick of portion control and somewhere along the way I naturally stopped counting! blah at counting!!!! I went on the scale and I STILL lost weight. What I noticed was those little portions that are suggested wasnt filling me and I wasnt satisfied. I needed larger portions every 3 hours. I was a little aggrivated with myself so I opened the Word and than as I was reading the Bible a verse popped out at me.

And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest FREELY eat: - Genesis 2:16

   I love when I read the Bible and something pops out at me. He said we may freely eat. That means we dont need to worry about how often or how much. Everything in Gods garden is freely ours for food. We need not worry about getting fat off of broccoli, tomatoes, apples, oranges, eggplant, sunflower seeds. They were originally intended to us for food!!!!!! These articles wont have the same effect on our bodies as steaks, low-fat cookies, ice cream, doritos, white pasta, butter- all those unhealthy foods. What ive learned low-fat and sugar-free is the devils deception. It may not pack on the lbs like sugar-filled items do but it does have a negative effect on the metabolism therefore slows your metabolism and has a negative effect on health. This is my take on everything ive learned, I am no PHD or anything. So please dont sue me. :P

 

Aggrivated, depressed- a little bit of both?

I know I’ve lost 25lbs. But sometimes I dont feel any different than I use to feel. Today I feel tired, hungry, depressed, and just dont feel like doing it!!!!!!!!! I eat to much I worry im going to gain weight and destroy all the progress ive accomplished. Ok so today I went on scale (twice) and saw two numbers 187 and 188lbs. Im really beginning to hate these numbers!!!!!!!! I dont feel like im geting anywhere. So I eat more than half a bag of nuts. Ugh, I binged on nuts. I dont know weather to laugh or cry writing that. and I just feel so tired and bloated. I know its the that time of the month but im just SICK of feeling heavy. Than theres peoples comments which can bring me down. Like today “Well I know you lost a few lbs, theres no huge difference in you so why do you need to eat like rabbit”. I just want to say GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went out for my anniversary. We went to Old Country buffet. The results: disasterous! I had a plan, but it didnt work out as planned. How it did work out: 2 glasses grape soda, 2 grilled cheese sandwiches, mashed potatoes, stuffing, alfredo pasta, mac and cheese, herbed rice, 2 slices of pizza, and some other junk. Once I realized I was going to explode I got filtered water LOL. There were about 20 different cakes and pies. At this point I thought I was going to totally explode so I opted for oranges, melon, and sunflower seeds compared to the white-flour desert table. Did it really matter at that point? I dont think so. But I left with a tad- bit of victory. That morning I weighed in at 186.2 ( I wanted to compare knowing I was going out to eat). Today I weighed in at 186.8. The adventure costed me 6 oz. of hard work. Yes, 6 oz is alot to me!!!! I was disgusted with myself in one regard. But I know it isnt all the time like it use to be. That use to be everyday. Praise the Lord for that!!!! Im going to keep my head up and keep going!!!!

Im such a naughty girl. And lazy. But I did excerise. 45 minutes. 2 miles on epileptical. 300+ calories burned. 40 weights (15lbs). 40 crunches. Victory.

What im really scared about: Going out to eat today. My anniversary was yesterday (4 years!) but we both worked so we planned for today. So I guess it will be more of a lunch. I really want to go but all the unhealthy food that will be there. I plan to slip a little. Its my annversary for petes sake!!!! I got a plan though. I plan to hit the salads, and healthy alternatives first (its a buffet) fill myself as much as I can with those. THAN the damage can come in- hopefully ill be 95% full LOL. We’ll see how it goes.

Is it really portion control, or control over bad food?

Well since i’ve begun this whole diet adventure. I started out like everyone suggested. Small, small, small serving size portions. You know 3 ozs of this and 2 of that. The last couple of days that thinking kind of went out of the window. Ive been sticking to my 1,500 cal. budget. Just eating alot more really healthy nutritious dishes. IE, 2 cups of zucchinni, carrots, salads (no olive oil), legumes. I mean I am eating more than 5x a day. Guess what, IM STILL LOOSING WEIGHT!!!!!! Terrible part is, I havent excerised since May 31st. I mean really hit the gym ( I will today). and Im still loosing weight!!!! So what is the truth on portion control? If you are eating the right foods God created- does portion matter or how your body breaks it down?

Monthly aggravation

Alright, I been waiting for my monthly cycle for the last 2 weeks. I had my last one about 36 days ago. I usually run every 3 weeks. I just always been that way. I am bloated, tender, I am having slight cramping down my right side leg. Which is really irritating. But no sign of flow. I am really anxious because when I get my monthly cycle the bloating etc really affects how I am with excerise and what not. I just dont have the motivation. I was wondering if this dieting effected my cycle? has it done it to anyone else? I mean I know im not extreme dieting. I eat 5-7x a day. I generally aim for 5x. Someone in a post suggested pregnancy (which I really doubt). But im going to buy a test today just for 100%. Because even if I am (which im not) I dont want to hit the gym hard and end up hurting something/someone. Will keep ya posted.

We all have a favorite “bad” food. That we know just isnt nutritious or packs us with the calories. So my question is what food(s) is your favorite healthy and unhealthy food you can eat a ton of. The healthy one there just really isnt any guilt.
Mine are:
Unhealthy: Coffee
Healthy: Cream of cauliflower

The recipe below wasnt really something I could eat with my dietary changes. So I just swapped out a few things and added a few other twerks and it came out delishious!
1/2 cup of milk
2 ounces of grated any cheese of your choice.
tbsp of olive oil.
Put in microwave.
3 seperate times for a minute increment
take out and stir each time.
– I loved my recipe… It really was good over some carrots.
