The World, The devil, Temptation…

 It dawned upon me I dont struggle with the types of foods I eat (which are nutritious). In fact, I love them. I could definitely spend the rest of my life enjoying them everyday. I dont desire the bad stuff. Only thing I kind of craving is chocolate, but ill handle that shortly in a healthy way. I realized I only desire junk food (thats exactly what it is, junk) when im around people who indulge in them. Namely, at work. A biblical verse came to my head where we are told to avoid all types of evil. Just the appearence of evil we are to avoid. I began to think on another verse where it says it begins with a thought (imagination), then conceives into sin, and sin unto death.

   Now how do we start thinking about these junk foods…. BY OUR EYES (and sometimes ears)!!!!! If we dont see or hear about something we cant think about it let alone desire it. It doesnt exist in our world!!!! Thats where the devil comes in…. he finds away for us to KNOW about the culprit. “I made this delicious sauce you have to use the heaviest cream you can find”… or we watch someone down a bottle of coke. It looks so good doesnt it? we need it dont we? Thats what the devil wants us to believe! He uses the World to tempt us. Such a clever little guy he is. He knows how weak we are, and he uses what he knows God designs for us to survive against us. He does the same thing with sex. God designed that for beauty he turned it ugly. But thats a whole different subject. Point being, he distorts.

   If you really think about it, he is pretty smart, clever, and extremely intelligent. He knows EXACTLY where to hit us that hurts. He does it SO quietly too. sneaks it right in there. Such a small thing as food and it becomes his playground. Look what he causes, obesity, obsessive compulsive eating (binging and otherwise), anorexia, belemia. Where does these food disorders come from: The fear he plants into us!!!!!!!!!!! We fear if we eat to much we’ll be disgusting, we eat to little we’ll be sick, we dont like ourselves and we loathe our bodies. He teaches us to hate what God said was his most beautiful creation!!!! WE ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!

   Dont let him trick you any longer. The bible tells us how we are suppose to eat. The bible says right in genesis 1st chapter he gave us the garden and everything in the garden we are suppose to eat FREELY!!!! This means he wants us to enjoy his creation. Whatever grows out of the ground, hangs off a tree, is green and many other beautiful shades of colors is ours!!!! There no shame in eating these foods. Its the stuff were tempted with daily our bodies dont want. White flour, White sugar, Sweet n low, low-fat products, no-sugar cookies. ITS POISON TO OUR BODIES! Its all fake. Our body doesnt process it-so it stores as fat. Which means we dont like how we look or feel. But, thats the devils plan. IF WE SUCCUMB TO THE JUNK WE WILL LOATHE WHAT GOD MADE!!!! It distracts us from looking to God because were too busy looking to ourselves. Thats the devils plan. But, its not Gods. 

    If we feed of his word we will know what he intends for us to eat, how he wants us to feel, and most importantly how much were loved. Even when were fat and derailed he lets us know our apparence isnt how he judges. He doesnt judge like humans do. His ways are far above us. We are rubies in his sight. And he wants to shine them up and let them shine!!!!
