So I missed my long run yesterday. AGHHHHH It drives me crazy to be off of schedule. Today is actually a rest day, but I have to run and strength train now. Does that mean I run all the way to Friday? I guess so. Maybe I should just do a short run week… Run 3-4 miles M-F, x-train Sat, and then long run Sunday. Okay, that’s the new plan. 3/4/3/4/interval/x/7 I feel so much better with a plan :)

I ate a nasty dinner last night… a few rolled tacos and a bean and cheese burrito. Delicious, but so not good for me. I need to get on my game as far as diet is concerned. I only have 2 weeks before my BFF is here and I am little black dress bound! The goal was to lose 5 pounds. So far, I am at 0. No gain, no loss. My mother in law does the blood type diet, and we are the same blood type. Basically, the only bad thing is that it cuts out dairy and wheat. Um, that is my whole diet! I may try it while she is here this week and see what happens. I would eat a whole lot more veggies and fruits, and that is never a bad thing. Plus, I have been meaning to try soy milk anyway. My BFF hearts it, and regular milk creeps me out… it’s cow breastmilk! I am a grown woman and wouldn’t drink human breastmilk… so why would I drink what is meant for a baby cow? I mean, yuck! I definitely do not want to grow like a baby cow! ha.

Okay, I am off to start this day. My MIL is here and aside from this long workout, I also have to grocery shop and be ready for my 6yo’s Student of the Month assembly this afternoon.  Eek!
