Perfect days, as in plural?
Uncategorized October 20th, 2008Is it possible?? Yesterday was awesome and I am shooting for a repeat today. Think I can do it? I have pretty much given up on WW… I just want to know more nutritionally about what I am eating than the points it has. So, I have been logging all of my food on sparkpeople and I love it! How fun! I only have 3 more weeks of WW at work left, so I’ll still go for the weigh ins. I may join next time, too, just because I like the accountability and everyone doing it. Plus, they need a certain number of people to continue and I don’t wanna let them down.
I did a weight lifting/yoga routine yesterday and it kicked my ASS. My back and legs are so sore. I can’t believe I’m gonna say this, but I am glad I only have to do an hour of cardio today!
So, it’s Monday and after slaving ALL day yesterday (ok, that is a slight exaggeration) in the kitchen, my son comes in and says he needs a sack lunch for his field trip. That would have been nice to know YESTERDAY! I don’t have any field tripping supplies! RAWR. Kids are such a pain.
Hope you girls have a happy Monday!

My DD9 has sack lunch four days per week. Small private school, only has “hot lunch” on Wednesdays, and even then parents have to go to the school and cook and serve it. So we’ve always got those supplies. Problem is, I was making her lunch this morning, found myself popping a handful of goldfish crackers into my mouth. I don’t even LOVE goldfish crackers. They’re OK, but jeez, I didn’t even realize I was eating them until I was, um, eating them. BAD OLD HABITS DIE HARD.

Oh yes. Field trips. Ours require that everything is disposable and that is not our norm. We use re-usable containers for everything. My son has a field trip too. I am glad you reminded me! I better go make sure I have something for him to take for a drink.
I am all about the counting of everything, so I can see where the points may not give you all the info you would like. I do mine on fitday because it is what I found first and I have way too much time invested there putting in all of my nutrition info for my recipes.
Great job on your good days!

Perfect days (yes, plural) are definitely possible. I’m going for a perfect week this week…I did it about a month ago and I was surprised how it wasn’t completely impossible. It actually made it easier to turn away from little snacks at night b/c I didn’t want to ruin my streak.
Good luck to you! You can do this

Congratulation on your perfect days! Wooohooo you’re doing awesome!
I really don’t know that much about WW and how the points work and all that but I think it’s a good sign that you want to be MORE aware of the nutrition you’re providing to your body!! (I’m a fitday girl too for the same reason as getupnow.)
