Hi!  My name is Sass and I’m on a journey to losing weight, 50lbs. exactly, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.  I started this blog, here on 3FC, because it’s where I get my support to lose the weight and to become a healthier me.  This blog is a place where I will keep my diet and fitenss notes, my trials and tribulations and also my weight loss pictures too.

How did “it” all start you ask?  Well, in early July 2008 I booked a cruise to the Carribean and started thinking about bikinis.  I was 223lbs. at the time and felt fat and even looked the part.  I decided, after talk to a good friend of mine, to start the South Beach Diet that he often raves about.  So, I gave it a go on July 12, 2008 and to date, I’ve lost 37lbs - it’s only been 15 weeks.  I’m currently in my 16th week.  I lost 30 of those pound by doing the South Beach Diet alone.  I noticed that I was stuck at 30 and anxiously wanted to get to 35lbs. lost.  Well, I started working out.  I do Full Body Resistance Band training three times a week, Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred everyday (a mix of strength and cardio) and I do Jim Horton’s Power 90 Abs workout (100 crunches in less than 5 minutes) everyday.  I droped seven pounds since I started working out about three weeks ago. 

My Progress!

What I hope is that I can spread some of my motivation to become healthier to others.  I hope I can be an inspiration to others as others have inspired me.  3FC is loaded with heroes and I hope to be one fo them one day.
