Week Two C25K
Uncategorized 2 Comments »9:30 and still lots to do. Just want to track my stuff somewhere. Started week 2 of c25k. Ran 90 seconds and walked 60, re-read the plan after my walk and realized I was suppose to walk for 2 minutes. But it worked out so I think I’ll stick to it the way I did it today. I figure I’m going to need to add 1/4 mile each week to be ready for Bah Humbug. If I have to walk/run so be it - I would rather do that than go overboard and hurt myself. BUT I don’t wan’t to aim for that right now. Other obsessions include what to wear this week. I have my first job interview in nine years and of course I have no clothes. Back in my working days I wouldn’t have dreamed of going to an interview in slacks but it’s not 9 years ago - the anal retentive girl has left the building and quite frankly if it ain’t jeans then I’m dressed up. I don’t even know if I own a top that doesn’t have a peanut butter or jelly stain on it. I’m going for a teacher’s aide position at my kids’ school. Will be short of a miracle if I get it since I was kinda of in the principal’s face last year for lack of doing anything with the school bully bugging my kid. Hmmm….should be an interesting interview! But the teacher’s love me and know me from volunteering in their classrooms so we’ll see how it goes…I hate buying and outfit for a job that pays so little but ….I have til Thursday to figure that one out.
Okay notes to myself: 2 miles in 30 minutes on treadmill. Walking was about 3.8 and jogging 4.7 averages. Haven’t gotten fitday stats in but DS7 wanted to go to Chinese Buffet for his b-day dinner so I know that blew me over the top - good thing I was low yesterday.
