Or starting a groove anyways. Wow what a whirlwind week, camping was great…and hurried and stressful cause I hate not feeling prepared but we managed. I’m glad we got one last “hurrah” in before summer ended. The kids had fun and while Pinecrest was nice I don’t know that I’d go again, we are constantly in search of that special place that will be ‘ours’ to go back to every year….we’ve yet to find it. Although we’ve come close with Calaveras Big Trees, that is a beautiful park, and my hat’s off to the state of California and their parks, they run a much better show than the Federal Parks, but I think next year we’re off going up the coast and possibly into Oregon (where most Californian’s seem to flee) it makes sense anyways us both being ocean people. Blah blah, okay, so I actually did a run on vacation, I have to admit, while I was feeling so bad not getting in any exercise the last crazy days before leaving town, I was a bit intimidated running amongst people. I don’t know why I’m like that but I just hate doing things in front of people, joining a gym is just a dreadful thought. But I did get out and do it! And I got more comfortable with myself as I went along. I am keeping with week 3 of the c25k program for another week since last week I didn’t feel a huge commitment to the program. Although I’ve tweaked it a little going a bit longer. Anyways, still have not started the core stuff, giving myself this week to getting used to the new job …. which is pandamonium but good…and getting the kids settled into school. Thankfully we seem to have 2 good and 1 decent teacher this year, crossing our fingers for a good year…Okay I want to go catch up on some blogs and see what everyone’s been up too.
