B : none.  Stupid, I know.  I was just busy and out of quiche…

Snack : almond butter - a little pack (maybe 2 ounces?) of squeezable thing I brought back from the States this summer.  Was really convenient but a bit weird to eat.

Snack 2 : little dried sausages - I don’t know what to call them in English.  I found a small bag of them at a store I was walking by.

Lunch : at a museum café, had a salad of duck breast on lettuce with a not-very-good mayonaise-blue cheese sauce on it.  It was NOT a lot of substance — iceberg lettuce and maybe an ounce & a half of duck.   Picked off the croutons, of course…

Snack 3 : bowl of mushroom soup, celery w dip

Dinner : PLANNED : leftover pork tenderloin, leftover Chinese meatballs, leftover mushroom soup & whatever else I can salvage from the fridge…

Exercise : Brisk walking for 20 minutes plus 30 min elliptical this morning (had a really tight schedule to fit in the gym).  Afterwards I walked around town for a solid 2 hours.  Barely stopped, but was not walking fast, just normal walking.  My legs hurt, but thanks to good sneakers, my feet don’t! (Was on my feet except for 30 min at lunch from 8:30 to 5:00)

B : tea w cream

Exercise : 45 elliptical at the gym at level 5 — a level that was challenging enough but not crazy.  Probably need 3 more sessions at level 5 before I move up to level 6.

L : late, at 14h00 AFTER the gym so I was really starving.  I had : the rest of the roasted green beans, about 4 Chinese meatballs, a fontainebleu cheese (whipped cream thing), and roasted nuts.

Green tea of the day : Tazo Green Tea Ginger, which strangely was better today than I remembered it…

D : Set out a platter of veggies (carrots, celery, radishes & cauliflower) with the dip.  We all ate that for a while & so after the soup weren’t very hungery.  Well, my husband had bought lots of pastries for himself & my stepson (and raspberries for me).  I had about 1/2 cup of raspberry/mascarpone/cream mix (froze the rest).

Cooking : cream of mushroom soup, blue cheese dip w garlic

Leftovers that were planned for tonight are pushed to tomorrow night…

B : tea w cream

L : (out) radishes, scallops w a cauliflower puree.  The cauliflower might have contained some potatoes too - I didnt eat all of it but my weight is up a bit now…

Green tea of the day : Twinings green tea at the restaurant.  Blech.

Exercise : really long walk through Paris.  About 1 hour of actual walking time, although time-on-my-feet was 2 1/2.

S : sunflower seeds, 99% chocolate, Celestial Seasonings Gingerbread Spice tea w cream

D : Chinese meatballs (new recipe - it worked, but would add dried mushrooms next time & cut down the ginger a bit).  The rest of the creamed spinach, 4 carrot sticks.

B : Tea w cream

Exercise : back to the gym! Gently, but back!

L : leftover quiche, salad, veggies

D : leftover pork tenderloin & veggies

Snack : roasted nuts, chocolate (99%)

Also : no nuts today… I think that those are too easy to overeat.  The unroasted plain nuts are more boring & less yummy, but it’s easier to grab a few for hunger & then stop.  Roasted spicy nuts will probably become a special occaision thing.

Green tea of the day : Mariage Frères thé vert Marco Polo

L : quiche, green beans, celery & blue cheese dip

D : Pork tenderloin in ginger sauce (new recipe — was very good), cauliflower & dip

Cooking : pork tenderloin, prepare a meatloaf, sauté the mushrooms for another batch of cream of mushroom soup

B : tea w milk, roasted nuts

Green tea of the day : Red Blossom Green Spring Harvest

L : a horrible cream of celery variation that I tried — well, a few spoonfuls of it before I just threw the whole thing out.  2 baby artichokes with lemon butter — they were AMAZING, among the best artichokes of my life.  Need to get more soon!  Cheese.  Roasted brussel sprouts.

Herbal ta : Celestial Seasonings Peach Passion

D : scrambled egg whites, creamed spinach, a couple of handfuls of roasted nuts
