Weekly weigh-in July 16, 2009

I’m going to start using more exacts weigh in numbers because when my weigh slows down I know it will make a difference.

This week 233.8! I’m pretty sure last week was 236.8 so some how I managed to loose 3 pounds which seems a little crazy, but I won’t complain. ^_^ I’m not too concerned how much I loose in a week but I do want to hit 225 by September. Which definately seems possible at the rate I’m going.

Unfortunatly I did not get to interval walk yet, it’s just too darn hot and I’ve got more on my plate than 3 people can do, but I want to try it soon!

 

Weekly weigh in July 11, 2009

After a week of vacation my weight is 236. =D

As my friend said, “Who looses weigh on vacation?!” I ate out a lot with my family and still managed to eat Phase 1.5 friendly. I started adding in one starch and one fruit a day and it seems to be going all right. I’m going to add in another fruit serving and see how that goes.

I also got the new “Super Charged” book so I’m hoping to try some interval walking this week.

I’m also really wondering why tea is so discouraged on SB. I don’t even drink caffinated. I guess I’ll just have to find out what works for me. =D

 

Phase 1 end - weigh in! July 3, 2009

I came in @ 237, at the end of phase one! =D

8lbs is pretty darn good! The week or two before I started SB I stopped drinking sodas and lost 2lbs. So my overall weight loss has been 10lbs. =D My goal is to be around 225 by the beginning of September. I’m really hoping this will be doable, especially once I start working out. That’s 12lbs in 8 weeks, it seems like a resonable enough goal! =D

I’m on vacation this week so it should be intresting to see what my wiegh in will be next Friday. I’m up in the Mountains with lots of fresh food so I’m hoping to remain on track. I really think the transition between phase one and two is going to be really hard but it’s time. I started with some carrots today and there are fresh cherries in the fridge. If I get ambitious maybe I will try some oatmeal or cous cous by the end of the week.

 

My challenges:

  • Eating enough Dairy (yougert and milk) I get plenty of chees
  • Eating enough veggies! I usually get around 4, but I want to get around 5. =3

I’m good @:

  • Drinking lot of water
  • Finding SB friendly meals @ resturants

So the online food Diary hasn’t been going so well but that’s ok, I’ve been keeping track IRL. ^_^

Things are still going pretty well with Phase 1, it’s hasn’t been “clean” but I think it’s time to start adding in some fruit. The past few days have been tough because well it’s that time of the month so those cravings don’t ever go away but I got out of it by eat a few extra nuts.

I’ll weigh in tomorow and see how I did for the past two weeks!

 

Food Diary June 21, 2009

Glad I did that “soft start” with begining this diet the past two days I was a bit off. XD

Friday -

  • 1 Cup of veggies (early lunch)
  • Lunch: Ham and Cheese Buckwheat Crepe with Side Salad, Nonfat Latte
  • Snack: String Cheese, sugar snap peas, nonfat latte
  • Dinner: Combination Plate @ favorite Middle Eastern resturant (various meats, salads, baba ganoush and humms, no rice)

Saturday -

  • Calabacitas Omlette
  • Black Iced tea one Splenda
  • Snack: Cashews
  • Lunch: @ Chipotle (Chicken Bowl, no rice, black beans, fajita veggies, pico and hot salsa with lettuce, side of guac), Coke Zero
  • Grilled Chicken with Yuzu salt, Salad with roasted Asparagus and tomatos, Balsamic Dressing
  • Blizzard (faaaailll) lol I know food isn’t a reward but my licensing test in the morning was brutal, this girl really needed chocolate!

Sunday

  • Calabacita Scramble
  • Water
  • Swordfish Steak with Cucumber Salsa, Roasted Asperagus, Cottage Cheese, Side Salad with Balsamic Dressing (tasted like it had a ton of sugar XD)
  • Snack: 2 Babybel cheeses
  • Lean Hamburger Patty with Cheese, Garbonzo Bean Salad, Tabuli Salad, brocoli slaw, Some Jello Dessert, Chocolate Macaron
  • Midnight Snack: Finish leftovers from Dinner Friday (meat, hummus, baba ganoush and salad)
  • This all sounds like a ton, but they were smaller portions. I was especially proud of eating my 4.5 cups of veggies by lunch!

Tomorow it’s back to more serious planning. XD It’s hard to find “Breakfest Veggies”!
