Starting up! June 18, 2009
It’s a diet blog, are you excited? I am!
Here are my stats:
- Height - 6′2
- SW - 245
- CW - 244
- GW - 185
I also have PCOS, a Mitral Valve Prolapse and Ventricular Beats. I’m hoping that eating right will decrease my symptoms and improve my overall health. Seems resonable to me!
On June 18, I did a soft start to Phase 1 of the South Beach diet. I decided to do a soft start mainly because I need more variety of food at home, mainly I’m practicing getting 3 meals and snacks. So far so good!
Today’s Food Diary:
- Calabacitas Omlet (3 eggs, 1.5cup veggies, Green Salsa, 2% Mexican Cheese, Light Sour Cream garnish) - very filling!
- Diet Caffine Free Dr. Pepper
- Snack: 15 Chashews
- Chicken Bowl (from Chipotle) (Chicken, Black Beans, Fajita veggies, Pico de Gallo, Hot Salsa, little cheese, lettuce and Guac (as oil for meal))
- Venti Decaf Non-fat Iced SF Carmel Latte
- Snack: Cucumbers and Hummus
- Water Count: Around 2 liters
I don’t know that I made it to 4 cups of veggies today, I will try harder tomorow!
Tomorow I’m eating out 2 meals, I should do ok. More phase 2 type foods though, hence the soft start this week.
