A new day, a new week, new resolve

Food intake last week was terrible.  I’m 5 flex pts. over for the entire week, and my tracker doesn’t reset until tomorrow. So, must carefully watch everything today to be sure I don’t go any further over.  I didn’t do any exercise last week again.  I did go for a walk last night with dh.  It wasn’t bery long though, maybe 15 min at the most.  This morning I took my ipod to the bus stop when I walked the boys there,and immediately took a brisk walk after they left.  I’ve found it’s best to do it this way, because if I come home, I usually get sidetracked, start doing something and one thing leads to another and before I know it, the day is over and I haven’t exercised. 

I made some zero pt soup on satruday, and have been having that for lunch the past few days  It has helped keep the daily pts in check since I don’t have any flex pts left for the week. 

After a week of cool temps and lots of rain, the sun is finally shining today.  Looks to be a very pretty week with lots of sunshine.  Lets hope the beautiful new week translates into a beautiful new start to weight loss also.  It will be great for getting out and taking some long walks.  I’m still thinking of trying to start jogging.  I just don’t really feel like walking alone is doing much for me anymore.  I think a trip to the store to get a really good sports bra will be necessary first.

I”m looking forward to the start of the Biggest Loser.  I just watched the 1st hour of tomorrow’s premiere online.  I know the dramatic weight loss you see on there isn’t realistic for the average person like me who can’t devote their entire day to working out, but I still find it inspiring to see the changes that take place over the course of the season.
