Official weigh in this week was 178.4, which was -1lb for a grand total of 30.4. My goal is to get to 150, so I am over half way there. Sure, after 40 weeks, I would like to have been at goal already, but I’m glad I’ve persevered and continued. My average weekly loss has been .76 lbs. Not what I would have liked it to be, but since I’ve stuck with it so long, it has really added up. I’m so much better off now, than if I had given up because the weight wasn’t leaving as quickly as I’d like it to. I did some refiguring and in order to get to goal by my 1 year date I will need to lose an average of 2.3 lbs per week. Is it possible? I don’t know. It would definitely be well above my weekly average right now. I do know that I have not been all that great at following the plan the past few months. With vacations and other things throughout the summer, I have splurged quite a bit. It will take a lot of dedication in order for it to happen, but I think i CAN do it though. Maybe I just feel inspired now, watching the Olympic games. So many people that had a dream and are living it right now. Today’s topic was about going for the gold and the leader said to think about the gold key you get when you become lifetime and earn the right to attend meetings for free, as your gold medal. She had a list of Olympic habits and related them to a WW habit. So, I vow today that I will do all in my power to reach my goal by Nov. 11, 2008. I will weigh 150, and I will get my gold medal before we ring in 2009!
