STILL GOING SLOW AND STEADY

WOW! Has it really been 1 month since I’ve updated? I’ve been busy and not taken the time to keep this blog up to date, and it’s not because I’ve not been doing well! I’m continuing to make slow and steady progress toward my goals. I made my 10% goal on March 18 and received the WW 10 keychain! I was so excited! Who’d a thought getting a keychain and those little 5 lb. stars could be so fun and exciting! Since then I have continued losing every week but Easter, in which I gained .5 lbs, but that was almost nothing and that half pound and then some are gone now. As, of 4/8 at my last weigh in I was at 185.2, for a grand total weight loss of 23.6 lbs!!!!!!!Yeah me!!!!!! I’m excited and can’t wait to hit -25 lbs and get the disc thing to go on my key chain. It’s so close, and if I really stay on track this week and get exercise in I think I can get it next week. I’ve had a couple 1 lb loss weeks, so I feel I’m due for something a little bigger soon. I talked with the meeting leader yesterday about my ulitmate weight goal. I decided on 150 for now. 124-155 was about the weight range recommended for my height. I don’t remember ever being below about 150, which was what I remember being about in high school. And I’ve only been in the 170s or higher since just before I was pregnant with my first. I don’t want to set something too low that I won’t be able to achieve. Plus, the sooner I reach my goal, the sooner I can attend meetings for free!!
My next goal is the 25 lb mark, 183.8 which I should attain within the next week or 2. After that, my goal is going to be 182, I know not much lower than the 25 lb mark, but it will take my BMI from “obese”to just “overweight”.
I’ve really gotten into the Biggest Loser this season. I’ve watched it a bit in the past, but it’s never been something I felt I “had” to see every week. Maybe because I’m so dedicated to my own weight loss right now, and I find it so motivating. I was so thrilled to see both the women make it to the final!!! I want one of them to win so bad! I like them both, so I don’t care which one as long as it’s a girl!! It was amazing to see the side by side comparisons, and I loved the fat suit challenge!

Your accomplishments are fantastic! You will reach your 25 pound goal in no time. And it’s a great idea to set your goal at 150 so you can attend your meetings for free. Then you can still choose to lose if you want to.
