It’s Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas!

2 sons and I were at the park yesterday, running around in light jackets, and this morning , we got some sleet/snow. Crazy weather!  It’s not a whole lot, but enough to make it look pretty.  We were supposed to get 2-4 inches, but I’m not sure we even got an inch, and it looks like it has stopped for now.  That’s 3 winter storms in the past 3 weeks the weather men/ women have been wrong about. 

 I took 2 sons to Lowes this morning for their kids build and grow clinic.  They do it 2x a month and it’s free!  This morning they made a calendar/pencil holder thing.  We came home and stained them.  DS #1 is going to wrap his up and give it to his dad for christmas.  It had started raining/sleeting on our way home, and we made it back before the roads got too bad.  Had a sort of lazy day other than that.  Put out a few more christmas decorations, straightened the basement.  DD made some cookies.  Boys have been playing game cube and now are watching A Christmas Story.  I’m not sure what we’re going to have for dinner  yet.  I’m leaning toward having “breakfast”.    I have a few more things I need to get out and buy before Christmas, but decided to wait because of the weather.  Hopefully when dh gets home from work, if the roads aren’t bad we can get out and do that.  If not, I’ll probably go myself after church tomorrow.  I need to get to the grocery store too, and buy some food for christmas dinner. 

 I think that i’ve undone the damage from my cookie binge last week.  According to my home scale I’m about where I was 2 weigh ins ago.  I just need to keep things under control over the next few days as the holiday celebrations take place!
