Here it is a Wed. already!  I have not made it to WW for this weeks weigh in yet.  I was going to try a different day again, because I spent Monday morning doing some grocery shopping in preparation for what was supposed to be a big ice storm.  I wanted to be sure to have enough for all meals for several days just in case we couldn’t get out.  We did get some ice/ freezing rain Mon. night, and the kids got Tuesday off school, so I couldn’t get to a meeting yesterday.  I thought for sure they’d go back today, but was surprised when I woke just before 6 am and saw their school district listed on the school closings.  I guess alot of what melted yesterday refroze overnight.  So, I’m here all day with all 3 kids home again, and don’t think I will make it to a meeting again today because that would mean leaving them home alone, and the way they fought amongst themselves yesterday that probably would not be a good idea.  Hopefully I’ll be able to make a meeting tomorrow morning.  We are lucky not to have lost power or had any major problems for the ice storm.  Areas  not too far from here got hit much worse.  It does look beautiful on the trees in the wooded area behind our house though!  I need to get out and take a picture before it starts to melt away. 

 I’ve been doing OK on the  plan this past week.  I used almost all my flex points.  I’ve felt hungrier and craving a few more things.  Also, we baked cookies last saturday when more ice had been predicted, and i’ve had a few of those, which really adds up points wise!  Being on the points plan has made me stop a few times and think whether or not I really want another cookie.  In the past I probably would not have thought twice about eating cookie after cookie after cookie until I’d really overdone it.  Now though, I stop after 1 or 2 because I’m more aware of what I’ve eaten during the day, and what I need to eat for the remainder of the day to be within the 27 points allowance.  I did put them all in the freezer yesterday though to help with the temptation of them being in the cabinet.  I realized it was too easy to just open up the cabinet for something else, and grab one quick, thinking it’s only one! 

 It’s been too cold to take any walks the past week or more.  I have done 3 home exercise videos this past week.  Today I did a Kathy Smith one, yesterday, Kathy Ireland, and Sunday WATP 3 mile. 

 I think I’m still on track to meeting the 4 lb loss goal by the New Year I set a couple of weeks ago.
