Measurment progress

Posted renewme on December 4th, 2007 | Filed under General

I took measurments on 10/05/07 as another way to help gage my progress other than the scale.  I decided yesterday to retake them since I’ve lost 10 lbs. now, and see if there was much of a difference.  I’m glad I did!  I knew my jeans were fitting diffrently.  I had a pair I bought a couple months ago, and they are slightly loose now.  I had 2 other pair that were tight when I put them on, but after a little while they were OK, and those are now fitting OK when I first put them on.  I don’t have to suck in and hold my breath anymore until they stretch!LOL

                         10/05/07             12/3/07

Chest                 45.5″                        45″

Waist                   44″                       42.5″

Hips                     47″                       45.5″

I’m proud of myself!!  As a mini reward at the WW meeting I decided to buy a few things.  They had the starter kit for half price, which I bought.  Apparently they are introducing changes to the program next week, and will have all new.  The leader said it will not be major changes, just some tweaking, so I figured it was a good deal anyway.  It had a 3 month journal, dining out companion, complete food companion, meals 101 recipe booklet and a coupon book worth $10 (which I noticed expires at the end of the year though). I also bought the TurnAround cookbook.  It looked like it had some good recipes in it.  It was only $7.  Not a bad deal I thought.  I was originally going to save it as a christmas gift for myself, but decided it would be better to put it to use sooner rather than later. Anyway,  I still have a few meetings to attend before christmas that I can do some christmas shopping for myself! ;)

Awesome job! 10 pounds is a LOT!

I made it to onederland the same day as you at the same weight! I’m sure you’ll blast right by me, though, you sound revved up and armed with a great plan!

I applaud the decision to use the cookbook right away instead of waiting for x-mas.
