Week 3 of Weight Watchers

I went to a different meeting this week. I was lazy and didn’t do much of anything yesterday. I figured after the crazy past 5 days, I deserved a break! So I went to the 12 meeting today. I had written last week after my weigh in that I hoped to reach the -10 lb point by this week’s weigh in, but I knew when i went that the was not likely going to happen. I went with the mindset that as long as I didn’t gain, I’d be thrilled. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I lost .6 lbs. I know .6 is not much at all, but it was enough to take me below 200 for the first time in several years. I’m now at 199.4. So, I’m pleased. At our meeting the leader had us write down what we wanted to accomplish between now and New Year’s Day and what we would do to get there. So here is what I wrote:
I wanted to lose 4 lbs. by New Year’s Day. I am going to accomplish this by planning meals ahead of time, being diligent in watching food intake at any holiday parties, and to exercise at least 3 times a week.
I think this is a goal that I can accomplish even with all the extra temptations and stress of the holiday.
