Thanksgiving Recovery

I  had a nice Thanks giving.  DH family came over for the meal about noon.  We had your traditional Turkey and all the fixin’s.  I did not deny myself anything that I liked.  I had a little bit of everything and went back for a little bit more of what was especially tasty to me.  We had a ton of pie-apple, pumpkin, pecan, key lime.  I had a smaller than I normally would slice of apple and key lime, and a teeny teeny sliver of pecan pie.   I didn’t eat any dinner last night since I was still rather full after having such a large meal at lunch time.  I did snack on a few things mil brought- texas peanuts and some chocolate covered almonds.  I was over 50 points for T-Day.  I guessed on what some it might have been since I  don’t know what went in to some of the dishes I didn’t make.  Overall I don’t think it was too bad for a special day.  I ate until I felt comfortably full and not stuffed.  We luckily don’t have that much left over.  Some stuffing and turkey, and I sent everything else home with whomever brought it.  There is pie, but I’m not gobbling it up just because it’s in the house.  I had a little piece of apple and key lime tonight.  There’s still a little of each left, but we’ll save it for desert tomorrow.  In the past, I would have just eaten a little bit all day long, like a piece for dessert after breakfast, lunch and dinner!  I need to really pay attention to point until my next weigh in now.  I don’t want to go over any days, and I want to try to get in some exercise over the weekend.  I got on the scale this evening, and I think I’m probably about the same as when I weighed in Monday, but it’s going to take some work if I want to reach my goal for next weigh in.

    Sounds like an excellent Thanksgiving.

My problem would be the leftover pie… but you seem to be managing it ok
