Still Melting

AC still not working.  When the tech. finally came yesterday afternoon he did not leave with good news.  Said the compresser blew up.  He is trying to blame the electrician for not doing something right.  I don’t know.  I don’t care who pays for it, it just needs to get fixed!  He had said it would be 1-2 day until  the part came in and he could return to fix it.  DH talked with someone at the builder’s office, and she said it will be fixed today.  The temp. on our thermostat topped 97 degrees yesterday.  We ran a few errands last night  and when we returned, even though it was cooling down, the temp was still over 90, so we decided to go to a hotel.   We will try to get compensation from someone for the bill.  I am so thankful for modern conveniences like AC now.  We don’t realize how easy we have it today, until a situation like this when we have to do without.   Needless to say, I never did exercise yesterday.  I did get plenty of water, and eating was OK because the heat totally zapped my appetite.  I did not weigh this morning again, since we were at the hotel and didn’t have the scale.  I’ll try to do it tomorrow morning.
