Pictures
I couldn’t find a larger picture at the top weight. I basically wouldn’t let people take my picture. This is cut out of a picture of me sitting in our truck. Somehow I thought that was better. I’ll add pictures as I go (facial only for now). I did find body (front, back, side) from 369lbs, but I’m not brave enough to post them yet.
So they are from left to right - 407lbs, then 369lbs (which is close to where I was starting this time), and 331lbs (Feb 18/08), 293lbs (Jun 29/08) with my just coloured hair, 265 (Oct 4/08) with my just cut and coloured hair… can you see a pattern.
Okay, I’m not sure if I’ll leave them up, but I was doing progress pictures for another board I post on and thought I might be brave enough to post them here.
Highest ‘3 view’ picture I have - 369 pounds (11 pounds higher than Dec 2007):

from a cute young girl to a beautiful young lady…WOW You look stunning.
I love your new glasses too…they REALLY show off your pretty eyes!
WOW! I’m mostly a reader on 3FC, so you probably don’t know me, but anyhow I noticed you changed your avatar and am was so impressed I just had to comment!
Looking good!
Thanks to both of you for the kind comments.
ahh great pics Anne!! You look great in those shape glasses as well.
Your looking fantastic! I also love the new shape of your glasses and the hair color is beautiful.
You look beautiful!! Keep up the good work! Losing weight is hard, but isn’t it all worth it when you realize how far you’ve come? You should be very proud of yourself!
You look great, keep it up!
Thanks all for the nice words. They do help.
GREAT JOB!!!! You have a very beautiful face!!! I’m sure the rest of you is just as beautiful (because we are all beautiful, some of us just have more curves to radiate the beauty!). Keep up the good work!
Awesome! When you look in the mirror, look into your eyes and say, “I know you’re in there (the skinny you) and I’m going to set you free!” Then watch the weight come off. There really is a skinny person hiding inside you. Be sure to say it like you mean it. The more you say it, the more it will become real to you and will happen. I’m proud of you. Keep up the good work.
Great job so far. keep it up!
I just wanted to say that you’re doing awesome! Thanks for the link for the bike rides! It’s awesome and I’ve been using it a lot!
Keep up the great work chica!
Great Job
Wow! You look so much younger in your “after” picture! You’re doing GRRRREAT!
WOWy ZOWy, you HAVE been working hard this summer so far! Good for you! It really shows! Hope you are enjoying the outdoors and your gardening : )
Thanks - I really am enjoying being more active this summer. Kind of makes me wish I’d got into the swing of things last summer. Ah well, such is life.
wow, u look great keep up the good work im gonna use u as my motivation
That’s nice… and anything that works is good!
Great lady! We could have talked for hours! And yes, she’s quite pretty. Nice smile!
You are doing a great job!! Woohoooo!
Thanks
I don’t see a lot of change over the last 14 pounds so I’ll likely wait until there are at least 25 pounds between shots. A lot will depend on hair colouring dates!
You are such an inspiration! I’ve lost 75 lbs, and have 40 more to go.. Seeing you’re discipline is so helpful!
Thanks! Congratulations on the weight lost already and with the pounds still left to go.
You’re doing an amazing job. Thanks for sharing your journey with all of us, it keeps me inspired and motivated!
Thanks for the comment. I guess I keep hoping that it will help others know that it is possible.
I linked to your pics today off of a 3FC post, and I love your hair color! and, I like the newer glasses - they look great, really bring your eyes out.
I have to tell you, you have given me a lot of help with your responses to questions and sharing your insight. Thanks!
Thanks. I switch between two different colours, but I think that’s the slightly darker one which I tend to use more often. The actual hair colour is, umm, mainly white!
And thank you for the nice comments. I think that’s the point of rambling on madly, hoping that someone gets something out of it.
Yay! A new picture!
You look like the daughter of the woman in the first picture. Your skin is radiant!
Way to go, Anne!
Thanks Susan - I honestly don’t see a lot of change in the last two pictures, but hey, that’s me.
Well done! What an amazing accomplishment.
Thanks
Wow! Looking better and better Anne! Love the latest picture! Good job!
Thanks
(I can’t help it, I don’t know what else to say.)
You go girl! You are looking great and you can definitely see the difference!! Looking at your pictures are so inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks - just one day at a time you know.
I really admire your commitment and your bravery. You have made huge strides in getting to your goal, and it shows in your pictures. You are looking fantastic! Thank you for posting these. I’m going to take pics of myself like these in a day or so for my befores, and I don’t know that I’ll ever be brave enough to post them publically. But it means so much that you’ve done so. You are such an inspiration. Keep it up, woman!
Posting them are optional, however, I really wish I’d taken some at my top weight. Even the few pictures I’ve found (with clothes) I can’t say what weight I was. In hindsight I should have taken them.
You ROCK.
Ya know, your calves always looked good ~ shapely and strong. I see such a difference in your neck/shoulder line area and overall, for cryin’ out loud, you’re The Incredible Shrinking Woman.
Nice posture, too. Did your Mom always to tell you to “stand up straight”?
I hope you give yourself lots of kudos for all the hard work you have accomplished~ both school work and body work!
Thanks. I do have to say that I’ve always been happy that I have good strong calves. I know women who weigh a lot less than me that have really bad feet and legs. I think part of that was because even at my top weight I was always on my feet all day. Especially the last 10 years or so with ever-increasing physically active jobs. Don’t get me wrong, by the end of the day I was beat, but I managed to get around quite well.
As to the posture… I suppose she did.
You look awesome. Such an inspiration!
You look great!! Keep up all the hard work!
Thanks both. I’m still very much a work in progress.
Hi Ya!! You are looking really good.
And (at the chance of sounding weird!!) I have to say that you have the ankles of a thin person!! I didn’t have ankles like that when I weighed 147 lbs!! And you are developing a very thin waist!
Great job, and thank you for posting!!
Thanks, I know that I’ve got pretty decent ankles, and I can now flex the muscles (and see them) in my calves. This is a good thing.
YOU FLAT OUT INSPIRE ME! And thanks to responding to my post on 3FC.
Robin
Thanks Robin (I sent you this in an email as well).
Hey no problems, that’s what the website is for. I admit that I’m not around as much as I have been in the past (time issues), but when I can I always try and post for new members. Especially when I see that they’re starting around where I once was. It’s not easy, and I’ve had long (and short) slips and such. However, in the long run I think I’m learning a better way to live my life. Good luck and remember, it really is possible. One small step at a time!
Lurker from 3FC - you look amazing!!! Keep up the great work! You’re definitely an inspiration.
Keep Posting Pics!
Cj
Thanks

Thanks, it’s just a constant work in progress. Good luck with your own loss!
wasting away! Way to go! You do look so much younger and healthier!
Thanks. I definitely feel healthier, but some days not so much younger.
You look awsome! Keep up the good work…I know it’s not easy but just think how much better you feel. You are such an inspiration…hugs for your soul
