August Wrap-up

Well, I weighed in this morning at 227.4, which is 130.8 pounds from where I started this time, and 179.6 from my top known weight. Anyway, the stats for the month:

  • calories per day: 2085 (27% fat, 29% protein, 44% carbs)
  • strength training: 10h 0m, walking: 9h 18m
  • avg daily exercise: 37 mins (242 cals per day)
  • weight lost: 5.2 pounds

I’m okay with this last month. I think the food levels are fine, but the exercise levels are lower than they’ve been. I’ll have to work on that! Now I need to think about goals for next month. I don’t set weight lost goals, as I feel I would be disappointed if I didn’t meet them. I try and set goals that will push me, but I can control if they are attainable. Although you can do certain things to help, you can’t force your body to lose weight on a schedule. So, on to the goals for next month.

  • Eat within plan every day (2000 rest/cardio days / 2250-2300 lifting days)
  • Drink water every day (4L min.)
  • Exercise (2 or 3 days lifting/walking 2-5 days a week)
I will continue with Power Training by Robert dos Remedios. I think it’s more my style than NROL, or maybe I’m just flaky and can’t make up my mind. :) I haven’t quite decided what I’m going to do (2 or 3 days) as my schedule has changed again, so we’ll see. I’m leaving it a little loose until the pool is closed in about mid-October. If we’re keeping the pool open, and heating it, then swimming takes priority!
