Today’s Totals - May 16th, 2009

Well, the rest day wasn’t much of a rest day. Just a little canning - started off making a cranberry/orange conserve for my mother (for her turkey), then tomato jam (for her fish). And since the day was crappy outside made some cracked wheat/oatmeal bread. Although I used the soy flour/whole wheat version… and hadn’t noted that it really didn’t rise well. Oh well, if nothing else it has a decent boost of protein in it. Oh, and I put together a breakfast bake (egg, egg whites, mushrooms, onions, cheese, etc.) to have for the next four mornings. It was too much standing on the tile floor, should have put my shoes on. My legs and feet are killing me.

Tomorrow morning I might make another batch of the cranberry/orange jam - but might leave it until Tuesday (I see the forecast is for rain again). I need to get my lifting done early tomorrow so we can have a swim early (since we’re going out tomorrow night).
