Catch-up Post

So, after what feels like months of inactivity and definitely weeks of poor food choices, I think that I’m back on track. Looking back it’s really only been 4 weeks since I’ve posted things like weekly weigh-ins and such, but I know that I haven’t felt in control for longer. However, school is over until September, and there’s really no excuse for getting things back on track. I’ve definitely slid backwards a bit on the weight, but I’m going to wait until next Sunday to see exactly how much. I say that because I think I have some water weight to drop, and then we’ll see where I stand.

So the plan for the next little while is 2000 cals a day and 5 days worth of exercise a week. I’ve started walking with a neighbour (~2.5 miles Tu-Fri, which takes us about 40 mins). I’m not sure if I’ll switch over and start walking with my mother when she comes home on Wednesday. She’s a little slower, but if we go the path that I’m thinking I could perhaps jog a bit during part of it (ie. away from her, and back). Anyway, we’ll see how that goes. I want to add at least two days of lifting into the plan, but some of that may depend on if I find work during the summer or not. Getting the food back on track has been reasonably good these last few days (since Wed), so that’s really the first step.

I will start making daily posts (add my food later tonight), and looking forward to a good summer break!

    Hi Anne!
Just dropping in to say hello. “Summer Break” ~ such a nice phrase! Enjoy, as you have been working so hard at school all year.

    Best to ya!

I’d love it to be a pure summer break, but I really need to find some work. Sadly, around here, that’s not going to be easy. I’ve put in a number of applications and signed up with a couple of temp services. They don’t seem to be enthusiastic (in fact when waiting for an appointment I overheard the pep talk given to the employees at one… giving the impression that they aren’t doing enough business out of that office).

Hi Anne! I love a woman who is charting things on a graph. LOL Have a great Sunday! I’m going to stay in touch! ~ Sunnie

Thanks. The graphing will likely have a gap in it, but starting next Sunday (no matter what it is) I do plan to get back to it. :)
