So today was a complete goof-off day. I think it was mainly because I didn’t sleep well last night. I was still awake long past 3am, and couldn’t get back to sleep after waking up at 8am. So, I dealt with the computer, but had a real low energy day. I couldn’t face a workout, so I’m marking the compliance today at only 67% (which will make it 95% for the week). I can live with that. I always thought I’d have trouble with the 6-day workout schedule. I’ll summarize the first week tomorrow morning (with whatever weight I end up at).

Today’s Totals - Jan 2nd, 2009

I managed to keep the eating under control this evening. I planned a couple pieces of flatbread and hummus and stuck to that. Although I had a couple of diet sodas, and just barely made my minimum water (I usually go about a litre over), so I’m not sure what that will do to me water-wise. Last year I had a couple of diet sodas one day and noticed a visible change in water retention the next day. We haven’t bought any in over a year, but every month or so I have one. Of course, that means we’ll have them for at least a couple of years.

And it’s sad to say, but the cookies that were brought are going to the squirrels in the morning. Some of the guests had them, and my mother will keep a few of a type she liked… but the rest are going. She talked about putting them in a container and I nixed that idea, since I know that eventually I’ll just eat them.

Tomorrow I’m giving in and will get the fan replaced on the motherboard. It’s okay at the moment, but it’s really to the point where it’s more often making a noise, than not. Of course, I really want to back some stuff off first (or at least transfer it to an external drive), so I’m going to do a little more tonight, and the rest tomorrow before I unhook it.

I got the stewed beef frozen (but will bag it up tomorrow), and my mother came home with some steaks (on sale), so we’re slowly filling up the other freezer now as well. :P
