I log on another site, and blog here. I do tend to cross post a fair bit. Last night I posted in one location only. This was partly because it took too long to do one post in a slightly inebriated state. However, I thought I’d post the one from last night, and then this morning.

I am officially hammered. I started with a single malt scotch, and between (at least three of us) we finished off a 40-oz bottle. I’m seriously hoping it was way more than three of us. Then one of the guys went next door and brought a blended scotch (maybe about 15oz left in the bottle) and we finished that as well. So then, even though I’m not fond of rye, I finished off the evening with a couple of shots of that. Of course, I’m estimating what I drank, and it’s definitely not pretty. The only good thing is that I drank most of my calories. :O
The only bad thing (from a protein standpoint) is that I took a serving of the veggie lasagna, a couple of tiny meatballs, and a big portion of spinach salad. I managed to keep the cookies to a minimum as well, so that’s good. I’m having serious issues typing here, so it’s time that I’m off to my bed. I’ll see if I can estimate the food and drink in the morning. Although on the drink side I think I’ll definitely be way off.

Actually my stomach is fine this morning, although I’ve planned out a lower calorie day. I’m tired more than anything else really. When I drink too much I don’t sleep well, which leaves me whipped the next day. I’ve been up for about three hours, but have no energy. Even though I usually don’t, I might try a nap after lunch.
As to the neighbours, they are a fun crowd. I was actually surprised last night that a few of them weren’t there (I’m assuming they were invited, just didn’t come). The guy who threw the party also done one on Victoria Day in the summer, complete with fireworks. This one came with quizzes, prizes, and little blinking Christmas pins that everyone had to wear. It was pretty fun though.
A couple of us were talking about the neighbourhood last night. And we agreed, it was a really good place to live. We’ve lived here about 12 years, and we’re kind of the new kids on the block. Children that were kids when we moved in are… college students now. The agreement was that no matter what you needed, regardless of time of day, that you wouldn’t hesitate to ask.

So, I’m not really sure I’ll even be close on yesterday’s food/drink, but I’ll take a shot at it anyway. I think I’m pretty good with the food, but I’m probably too low on the alcohol. Interesting point, but even when we entertain (and get to the point where people serve themselves) I always make sure there are a couple of shot glasses on the bar. Myself, I’m horrible at knowing if I’ve poured 1oz or 2oz into a big glass with a couple of ice cubes in it. Well, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
I’m not going to log a weight this week as this morning I was 4 pounds heavier than yesterday morning. The one thing I noticed this past week is that my water intake has been spotty at best. I’ll get back to a routine this week and see what the damage is in a day or two. I also haven’t (TMI) been to the bathroom this morning. So, I’m sure that’s part of it as well.
