So, 1 more exam down, and 15 dozen cookies made.
Yep, that’s 15 dozen (two kinds). They are little cookies though. And boy, even little they pack a lovely calorie count. I made chocolate crinkles (46 cals) and fruitcake drops (50 cals). Tomorrow I’ll make two more different kinds (including one I’ve not made before) and then I’m done for the season. My mother will make shortbread and mondel bread (think Jewish biscotti) and that should be the baking for the holidays done. Then it’s just a case of giving it all away.
Food for the day:
Total: 2622 (35% fat, 34% carbs, 29% protein)
Breakfast: bacon and eggs, lemon ginger pecan bread, jam, clementines (682)
AM Snack: protein shake (210)
Lunch: beefy barley soup, honey oat bread, chocolate zucchini cake, orange (706)
PM Snack: cookies (192)
Dinner: chicken curry, bean/carrot blend, butter, salad w/dressing (497)
Late Snack: tortillas, cheese (338)
Note: the food looks better than it is. There should definitely have been some additions of cookie dough, but in the end I just worked out the final calories based on the number of cookies that made it in the oven.

(from earlier)
I’m on a roll this week, even though I should be studying. I figured even if I didn’t do a workout there was little chance I was going to study.
I started off with 3 mins cardio (walking/jogging on the spot), the prescribed warm-ups, and then did:

I backed off a little on the dumbbell snatch since I wasn’t sure I could do 20-reps with the 45-lbs. I think I was right. The forward lunges are sad, mainly because I’m not used to doing them with a barbell. When I was doing them with dumbbells it seemed to help my balance. Not so much with the barbell. The side to side push-ups were sad, but they’ll hopefully get better as I go.
That’s the quick and dirty. I’m probably going to leave for the college soon. My exam isn’t until 3:30pm, but I’m definitely not studying at home, so I’ll see if I’m any better there.
