Today’s Totals - Oct 18th, 2008

So the plants are in, the soup is made, and I managed to get a pan of zucchini chocolate cake done as well as one of the zucchini snack cake (maybe I’ll rename it zucchini spice cake). I’ve already got 11 servings of soup frozen and bagged up and another 11 freezing as I write this. Tomorrow I’ll put the rest in to freeze and that will be it for the turkey soup. The meat and stock came from the two lots of smoked turkey that I made. So it was a good way to use up the bits and pieces of it.

In the end it was a fairly productive day. I also got my notes typed up for Manufacturing Management, although, I may do the same tomorrow for Metrology. We’ll see though as I have a small project to do in the garden and, oh yes, it’s a lifting day.  :D

Turkey Spaetzle Soup

I made my soup today and it turned out fairly well. Okay, I made my mother the official tester as I’d already taken something out for my lunch, but I trust her judgment. I also did taste the spaetzle just to make sure they weren’t horrible. :D
