Today’s Totals - Oct 17th, 2008

I’m not sure where the day went. Stopped off for a quick beer with the guys after classes. School was pretty good and I did the Costco run on the way home. Tomorrow we’ll bring the tender plants in for the season (as we’re borderline frost most evenings now). I think we likely won’t get a frost until near the end of next week but with the stuff we want to winter over you don’t want to risk it. As the weather looks better towards the end of the month I’ll likely leave the pots as is until we get a hard frost. Some of the plants always thrive in the cold weather (with blooms lasting days longer).

So for tomorrow there will be the plants, making soup, and some really light homework. Most likely typing up notes (how I review a couple of the classes) although I may review ahead on the math. I also bought some zucchini to make a couple of pans of cake (chocolate and the spice one) but that will likely be Sunday, or even Wednesday. I’ve done enough cardio this week and did manage to get in three lifting sessions so that’s not too shabby. Sometime before the end of the year I’m planning on getting a pull-up bar and possibly some bands for assistance. I’ve found them both with a Canadian source (ie. no cross border shipping) so it’s in the near future. The one I understand sometimes mails out coupons to mailing list subscribers so I signed up for that today and will wait for a while.
