Today’s Totals - Oct 12th, 2008

Well, a pretty quiet day around here.  I sliced up the smoked turkey (ended up with a little over 4lbs of meat) and started on some stock.  Other than a little homework, a touch of studying, and some laundry really didn’t do very much. I’m trying to get plenty of sleep tonight as Tuesday is going to be a long day and I’ve never been good at getting lots of rest on Monday night.  So tomorrow it’s a little gardening, finish up the stock, and try some studying for Tuesday’s test.

Oh yes, and some lifting tomorrow!

Total: 1995 (31% fat, 33% carbs, 34% protein)

Breakfast: two scrambled eggs, cracked wheat oatmeal bread, fruit salad (352)
AM Snack: blueberry bran snack cake (103)
Lunch: whole wheat tortillas, bbq pork, cheese, apple (540)
PM Snack: hummus, carrots (178)
Dinner: sirloin steak, corn, butter, salad w/dressing (538)
Late Snack: blueberry bran snack cake, protein shake (283)

Weekly Weigh-in - Oct 12th, 2008

The Sunday to Sunday loss this week is 2.0lbs. I thought the loss might have been lower as I lifted yesterday. I’ve come to the conclusion that I just can’t always predict what the scale will do. The 9-week loss is 17.6lbs (1.96/week) which is usually the ‘number’ I look at to see how things are going overall. The other little compulsive number I look at is how many days I’ve been ‘on plan’ primarily with food. I still consider the maintenance week ‘on plan’ since I accomplished what I wanted to. So, since I started keeping track this is day 276 on plan with food.
