Today’s Totals - Oct 8th, 2008
I’m not sure where the rest of the day went. I did more homework, a little stuff on the computer, then it was pretty much dinner time. After dinner I put some laundry in and got my lunch stuff ready for the morning. I’m planning to try and get 45-60 mins of cardio in before I go to school in the morning. I figure with a quick protein shake and a piece of fruit I should be good to go. I may not need as much ‘wake up’ time as I do when I lift in the morning, so we’ll see how it goes.
So now I’m just waiting for my clothing to be dry so I can hang it up and then I’m off to bed!
Food for the day:
Total: 2306 (23% fat, 41% carbs, 31% protein)
Breakfast: 2 fried eggs, cracked wheat oatmeal bread, fruit salad (475)
AM Snack: protein shake with frozen berries (254)
Lunch: whole wheat tortilla, bbq pork, cheese, pear (411)
PM Snack: carrots, hummus, pisco sour (269)
Dinner: meat sauce with whole wheat pasta and parmesan cheese, bean/carrot blend, butter, salad w/dressing (630)
Late Snack: protein shake, fruit salad (268)

I’m still so impressed with your food/workouts/daily drill, etc. Such an inspiration to me. I really can do this long term, can’t I? Thanks for posting so faithfully. I need to get better at that. Delita
I’m not sure I’d be impressed. There are some days I think I’m not going to make it. I’m carrying a full course load this semester but am making plans to get a couple of exemptions next semester. I should have probably done it for two of my classes this semester, but decided those classes might pull my grade point average up. However, it would have been nice to have the extra time.
To answer your question though, yes, you can do it long term. And I don’t just mean the weight loss. I look at my daily menus and heck, I could eat this way forever. I think that’s (for me) the most important thing. I couldn’t do it if I hated the way I was eating.
