Today’s Totals - Sep 7th, 2008

So I really did make it a rest day today. Other than a bit of tidying up in my bedroom I really didn’t do much. I did get my bag ready for school tomorrow. Ummm… Monday’s books are pretty freakin’ heavy! I got the bag together and weighed it just for fun - pretty close to 25 pounds. Oh well, I suppose I’ll get some exercise lugging it around. :)

Food for the day:

Total: 2007 (27% fat, 39% carbs, 34% protein)

Breakfast: protein pancakes, jam, peach (390)
AM Snack: none (0)
Lunch: whole wheat pizza with tomato sauce/turkey sausage/olives/cheese, nectarine (488)
PM Snack: hummus, carrots, flatbread (226)
Dinner: sirloin steak, corn, butter, salad w/dressing (768)
Late Snack: protein shake (135)

Weekly Weigh-in - Sep 7th, 2008

The Sunday to Sunday loss this week is 1.8lbs. The 9-week loss is 18.0lbs (2.00/week) which is usually the ‘number’ I look at to see how things are going overall. No real changes since changing my calories. In fact, you could say less loss this week, but one week isn’t enough to base anything on. Next week I’ll be starting Power Training which I’m sure will shake things up a bit. I haven’t decided yet on whether I’m going to change my weigh-in day. I might since it’s likely I’ll be lifting Saturday and I often hold a bit more water the day after lifting days. I know it should even out after one week though so I might just decide to accept a bad weigh-in next week and not worry about it. The other little compulsive number I look at is how many days I’ve been ‘on plan’ primarily with food. I still consider the maintenance week ‘on plan’ since I accomplished what I wanted to. So, since I started keeping track this is day 241 on plan with food.
