Today’s Totals - July 20th, 2008

Ugh, I really didn’t want to do anything today. However, I was the one that wanted to switch my rest/cardio days around so I made a point to get on the treadmill. The weather just isn’t nice enough to do anything outside. It’s not cold, but it’s kind of an on again/off again drizzle. Hey, I’m not really complaining. We got the best of the day yesterday evening. It was raining perhaps as close as 30 minutes before people started showing up. I cleaned off the chairs and put up the table umbrella although I’d pretty much decided we wouldn’t be sitting outside. About an hour in though the sky cleared up and we started to wander outside. It stayed pretty nice until after midnight when the last of the guests left. Sometime overnight though it must have rained pretty heavily.

Ah well, this is why I have a treadmill. Looks like it will be the warm-up of choice for tomorrow’s workout as the next few days don’t look promising. Other than that it’s a pretty boring, slow day. I can’t get up the energy to do much other than veg on the couch and watch television. I’m kind of glad the day is over and that I can go to sleep. I avoided an afternoon nap by doing my cardio but boy did I feel like I needed it. A good night’s sleep and I’ll be ready to lift tomorrow!

Oh, and sigh, that was the last of the cherries tonight. In fact I think we’re running short of fruit again.  :)

Weekly Weigh-in - July 20th, 2008

Today’s weigh-in brings me to 286.6 which is 5.4 pounds less than last week. It’s actually too high a change for me to trust. I suspect some of it is water weight as it came off very quickly so who knows what the next week will bring. Even accounting for the 1.2lb gain from the week before this is still a greater than 4lb loss, something I haven’t had since I started. I feel like crossing my fingers to see if it holds. Anyway, since I started keeping track this is day 192 on plan with food.
